Building a CSR and circular roadmap for a jewelry manufacturer

We helped a French jewelry manufacturer define its CSR and circular strategy.

Building a CSR and circular roadmap for a jewelry manufacturer

Context

Faced with the challenge of sustainability posed by its business sector and the new CSRD obligation, a French player in the Jewelry and Haute Joaillerie sector wishes to develop a CSR and circular strategy, an associated roadmap and a draft extra-financial report.

Issues

In order to meet all our customers' social and environmental needs, we enlisted the help of Déclic, a CSR consultancy, to develop a global approach.

Methodology

The support was provided jointly by our two firms and took place in 4 phases:

  • Carrying out a diagnosis of the customer's activities to identify actions already in place, weaknesses and opportunities on all CSR topics, with a more operational focus on circularity issues.
  • Co-construction of a CSR and circular strategy with quantified objectives, validated by the Executive Committee.
  • Drawing up a roadmap, validated by the COMEX‍
  • Drafting of the company's extra-financial report, taking into account the constraints required by the CSRD to facilitate future reporting.

Impact

- 50 targets set by the Executive Committee on environmental and social issues
- +20 targets specifically on circular economy issues: Reduction of the overall product footprint by one third, 100% eco-designed products, raw materials risk mitigation plan.
- 100% of the company's departments covered by the action plan
