Coalitions
Uniting and leading coalitions to accelerate the scaling of circular models.
Our coalitions bring together stakeholders from the same industry—or different industries sharing common challenges—to collectively overcome the barriers hindering the circular transition. By pooling costs, risks, and influence, what no single actor can achieve alone becomes possible at scale.

FAQ
What you need to know about us.
What is a circular economy coalition?
A coalition brings together companies from the same or diverse sectors to address common issues (sourcing, reuse, traceability, etc.) in order to pool R&D, experiments, and results that none could achieve on their own.
Why join a coalition instead of acting alone?
Certain circular challenges (reuse, financing, metrics) can only be solved at the value chain or industry level. The coalition shares costs, risks, and insights while accelerating the transition to scale.
How does a Circul'R coalition work?
Circul'R leads the coalition: scoping, facilitating working groups, conducting field experiments, and producing shared deliverables. Each company contributes to and benefits from the shared results.
What results do the coalitions produce?
Concrete experiments, shared standards, and detailed recommendations, for example on deposit-return schemes for reuse in the cosmetics or wine and spirits industries.
How many companies participate in a coalition?
It varies by topic: typically between five and fifteen major companies from the same or different sectors, united around a common goal.
Which sectors are involved in the coalitions?
Cosmetics, manufacturing, finance, food and beverage, retail: any industry facing a common circular challenge can form a coalition.
How do I join a coalition?
Contact the Circul'R team to identify the sector-specific coalition that aligns with your goals and to learn how to participate.
What is Circul'R?
Circul'R is a consulting firm specializing in the circular economy. Since 2016, it has supported over 150 major companies and public organizations through consulting projects, sector-specific coalitions, training programs, and the Circul'R Club.
